Content Monitoring & Reporting
We use a mix of human review, automated checks, and user reports to keep the site safe and responsive.
1. Monitoring approach
Images uploaded to the platform are held before publication: every upload is checked, and anything a check cannot clear waits for a person to look at it rather than going live. Written stories and material archived from public sources are reviewed on report rather than before publication, so the report button on each page is the fastest route to a human.
2. Removal and enforcement
We work reports in two tiers. Anything reported as involving a minor, depicting a real person without their consent, or otherwise illegal is treated as urgent and reviewed within four hours, at any hour. Everything else is reviewed within 72 hours, oldest first.
- Content may be removed or unpublished while a report is reviewed.
- Confirmed violations are removed and the account may be warned, restricted, or banned.
- Illegal or urgent complaints are escalated to the appropriate authorities by our named escalation contact.
- Reports are private. We do not tell the person you reported who reported them, and we do not share the outcome beyond confirming we received your report.
3. How to report
The quickest way is the Report button on the story, comment or profile itself — it tells us exactly what you are looking at. Reporting needs an account, which is how we stop mass-reporting; picking a reason is what puts urgent reports at the front of the queue. For anything without a page to report, use the contact form or the dedicated takedown pages below, and include the URL, a description of the concern, and any relevant policy or law.
4. Removal requests for creator content
If you are an original author or rights holder, you can ask us to remove or review content that you say does not belong here. We review those requests promptly and will remove material when appropriate.
